Dear Mom,
Twenty-one years and nine-ish months or so ago, you chose life.
Thank you. Thank you for loving me before I was able to take my first breaths and looked more like a shrimp than an actual human person. Thank you for raising me in a loving household and for giving me a strong moral and ethical foundation on which to build my personal beliefs and opinions. Thank you for stressing the importance of family. Thank you for continuing to always be there for me even though I’ve moved away from home.
I know that I don’t always appreciate you or the things you do for me in the way they should be recognized and appreciated. But. I always love you. I always remember who brought me into this world and, in your words, who can take me out. :)
I love you, Mommy. Happy 21st anniversary of becoming a mother.

Car Ride to Spencer
Every time something douche-like came out of Someone’s mouth, the sunglasses would go on and Jason Aldean would get cranked up a little louder. It was satisfactory. :]
